How you’ve changed this month.

I guess I’ve become a slightly happier since the start of this challenge. I’ve been less stressed about things and I’ve been humbled slightly. I’ve met some awesome new people, and I’ve figured out some things about my personal self as well.

Three things you want to change yourself.

1. My physical appearance. I wish I had a better looking body, more handsome features. Everything.

2. My awkwardness when meeting new people. I tend to be quiet and shy when I meet someone new, even though I want to get to know them.

3. My indecisiveness. I’m bad at making decisions and living without regrets. Too often I look over my shoulder and sometimes that holds me from doing certain things and saying things to certain people.

Two good things that have happened to you recently:

-Finished school for the year.
-I ate chicken today.

Something you’re worrying about.

The states of my relationships with certain people, and whether or not they will fall apart in the future.

Three photos of yourself.

Uh…

1. At Mt Buller last year for a snowboarding trip. What a faggot.

2. Dancing, behind @johnztaz03 at SMTown Melbourne. Rage face…

3. Performing at Monash University a couple of weeks ago.

Something you’re to which you are looking forward.

Last day of school tomorrow! So yeah, looking forward to holidays and going out/sleeping in, and finally having time to finish some creative projects and start new ones.

But I’ve got a piano exam tomorrow morning so I’m still kind of stressed about it. Mixed feelings.

The nicest thing you’ve ever done.

Fuck, I really don’t know. I haven’t done anything that was amazingly, outstandingly nice, and if I did I wouldn’t be telling everyone about it. I guess I try to be nice just in general to everyone, rather than saving it for only occasional really nice actions.

But I’ve been there to listen to people when they’ve been really down, given emotional support, and let people vent to me without ever judging them. Just little things.

I guess I recently texted someone an essay-length message as an apology letter. Lol.

Your opinion on alcohol.

It’s fine as long as you don’t end up doing stupid shit that you’ll regret, like drink driving, starting fights etc.

Personally I don’t drink much. I’ve been tipsy before, but never gotten smashed. But I don’t try to act drunk like so many people I see nowadays. That stuff’s embarassing.

Your opinion on religion:

Honestly, I’m not a very religious person. I was born into the Catholic Church and I’ve been confirmed, but I don’t go to church that often. If it wasn’t for the fact that I go to a Catholic school the only other time I’d go to church would be for my relatives’ sacraments.

There are some things wrong with religion, such as how some of them promote hatred, prejudice, bigotry and a classed society. There are many people who have roles in a religion’s hierarchy who abuse their power, and there are also many religious people who have their minds shut to new ideas and improvements to the world (see: racism, homophobia, etc.). I also dislike how a lot of people try to force their religion down other people’s throats, whether out in real life or over the internet. Just go look at the comments of any religion-related video and you’ll probably find some stupid heated argument. Also those people who write underneath those “Reblog if you believe in God” posts stuff like “If you don’t reblog this you have no heart or you follow Satan”. There are good people who aren’t Christian too.

BUT there’s also a lot of good things about religion that a lot of atheists don’t realise. At their barest forms, religions teach good basic principles that lead people to live their lives in a positive way. Things like “Treat others how you wanted to be treated” should be followed by everyone, regardless of religion. There are a lot of people who also are “called” to help society, which is a good thing. A lot of lives have been saved due to people like them, and that’s partly in thanks to their religion.

Bottom line, you can be religious or not. It shouldn’t be an excuse for how you act and treat others.

Something you love:

Music and potatoes.

And Tim Tams,

Snow, sunlight, Schweppes lemonade, prawn dumplings,

and a lot of other stuff.

Something you hate.

I think I’ve said this before but disrespect.

Prejudice, racism, discrimination and greed as well.

And onions.

I hate onions.
